Integration of SMS in Clang offers new versatile campaign options
Zeist, the Netherlands, 2 March 2010 – Today E-Village launches Clang version 1.2.0. The new release of this online marketing application now features an optional SMS module. It offers a combination of all functionality of web, email and SMS in a single combined cross channel campaign.
Clang is an email marketing application, implemented as Software as a Service. It allows organizations to strengthen and extend their online dialog with customers, using targeted, personalized communication. Apart from web and e-mail communication, in the new release it is now possible to use SMS messages for one on one contact.
SMS messages can be sent based on profiles and customer properties, but Clang is also capable of receiving inbound SMS messages. The software will process these messages in the appropriate campaign, adjusting follow-up messages based on the response in the message, while at the same time enriching the database.
Lowest price
The optional SMS module in Clang can also be used to offer premium content, supporting reverse billing. The sending process is able to use several gateways at the same time. For each message, Clang will calculate which gateway offers the lowest price for the destination country. This ensures you never pay too much for an SMS campaign.
